The award-winning “A Will for the Woods” green burial documentary will be shown at 5:30, followed by a presentation and discussion led by Merilynne Rush. In the film, Psychologist and Musician Clark Wang, originally from Ann Arbor, grapples with cancer and his desire to have a green burial, which leads to the development of North Carolina’s first green cemetery. It is a very moving and informative portrayal of his struggle and accomplishment.

Merilynne Rush, a frequent presenter and Michigan expert on natural death care, will present detailed information about home funeral and green burial in Michigan, including photo essays of local families she has learned from.
