About 30 people came to sing, talk, eat, celebrate and remember. It was a really good day to be together. Thank you. Photos here.

I’m hoping that you are a trend setter. I will be making this down in September 2014 to spread the word. I forget when you had your gathering. Would it be the Saturday or Sunday closest to Halloween? Thank for encouraging us to gather and remember our beloved dead.
I have heard of the parade in Tucson on the Saturday closest to All Souls Day. Day of the Dead in Mexico actually spans Oct. 31 (the eve) to Nov. 1 (All Saints Day) and Nov. 2 (All Souls Day). You can have a gathering any of those days. Nov. 2 conveniently fell on a Saturday and there wasn’t a home football game in Ann Arbor
Everyone wants to do it again next year.
